The wait is over – the first strawberries of the season are here, and they’re some of the best we’ve ever grown! 

Join us at Essington Farm for our Pick Your Own Strawberries experience.

These early-season berries are bursting with flavour – larger, juicier, and sweeter than ever. 

Grown under cover, our early crop is known for its superior quality and taste compared to the main season harvest.

These early strawberries are the cream of the crop – and when they’re gone, they’re gone!

Come and enjoy a fun day out for all ages, and take home the freshest strawberries around.

Please read our guidelines below for this year before booking your tickets.

Our ticketing system gives everyone a timeslot to arrive avoiding overcrowding and queuing at peak times. The tickets also allow us to ensure everyone has good availability of our fruit to pick and has a better experience. Therefore, you will need to book in advance to visit our strawberry fields.

Tickets are strictly limited and will be £2.50 per person. (3s and under will be free so do not need a ticket). Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. We will release tickets within 48 hours to ensure we have enough strawberries for everyone to pick, so please keep an eye on social media for ticket releases. 

 Please note that the entry fee does not include strawberries. You must pay for what you pick. Strawberries are £9.25 per kg

⭐ Here are our PYO strawberries guidelines for 2025: ⭐

•PYO is open 9:30am – 3:30pm (last entry 3:00pm) and is a ticketed event. You must pre-book before you enter.

•Please park on the grass field next to our car park. The entrance to PYO strawberries is adjacent to the farm shop.

•No pets in our fields.

•No food to be consumed in the fields.

•We are sorry but the systems will not allow loyalty points to be accrued at this event.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Please make sure you are choosing your date and time carefully as unfortunately, we cannot cancel, refund, or move any bookings.

2. Entry does not include strawberries. 1kg of strawberries is £9.25.

3. We will be open if it rains, so we cannot exchange tickets or cancel bookings due to bad weather. Our strawberries are under tunnels, so if rain is forecast for the day of your booking, please ensure you wear suitable footwear and waterproof clothes. It is a fun enjoyable day outdoors, as the strawberries are in polytunnels.
